Just using the ez lube is fine but you do eventually have to strip and clean everything. As the old grease is consumed it leaves behind dirt and sludge. Once the hub is full of old used up grease you cant get any new grease in and forcing too much can blow out the rear grease seal just like the buddy-hubs common on small boat trailers.
