How do trucks end up in the water at boat ramps. Trucks slide on boat ramps usually occur when the ramp is long but the water level is low. As a result the ramp abruptly drops off leaving the truck in deep water. The bow line tied to your truck will keep the boat from floating away when no one is available to hold the line.
