Theres a screw in the plastic molding where the crack starts. Bad place to put a screw. I tried squeezing 5200 in it but Its so fine I dont think anything got in there.
There are no bulges looks like a stress crack in the gell coat. I have seen some older boats where you could actually see the pitting and poke a hole through the transom. An all aluminum is the way to go cut the entire transom out and replace with everything newusually a 40000 and up job depending on the size of boat.
The transom is clad in Aluminum. There is another piece of alumimum that butts up against the transom on the inside of the boat that looks like it was welded together or had some kid of sealer in the past. It looks like there is a fine crack along this butt joint and it is leaking inside the boat.
