Went the a trailer shop and he said you cant do an alignment on my trailer. I have a 1986 Comanche Ranger bass boat trailer.
Anyone know where I can find a 4500lb axle and not have to wait 3 months.

Ranger will replace them if needed but most likely nothing will be wrong. If the deflection or amount of travel of the wheels on the torsion axle has increased caused the trailer to bottom out or is not the same on each side then that would be a good indication that something is wrong. Having the weight off of the tires if the trailer will be sitting in the off season is not a bad idea.
Factory and Dealership have been great but no one has says they screwed up on wrong and improper tires. Thus next put non ST tires on a trailer sidewall fold on pot hole dings or bust wheel wheel can not take all impact thus bend axles. All will be fixed very shorty for the last time because Newer Trailer come with ST tires.
Ive got a 2006 Ranger Reata with a single axle trailer. Its the 4500lb torsion axle that I believe was made by Unique Functional Products UPF which was then bought out by Dexter. I see places like Eastmarine have what appears to be a replacement Ranger axle but that is the 3750lb axle and not the 4500lb axle.

He jacked it up and spun the tire. Width of your axle. The width of your trailer frame.

Better to have stopped and unhitched the trailer before the wheel came off. As others have said. Before using the trailer jack up the wheel and spin it.
