Theres a reason sea Hunt is the 1 selling saltwater boat and it aint there price. Dad had a 22 Robalo deep V and I know that he loved it and was very pleased with it.
My big boat is a 36 Tiara.
Sea hunt boat reviews the hull truth. Sea Hunt makes a good mid tier boat and a decent price many THTers have good things to say about them. Do a search and youll see many references to them. Ive had an Ultra 234 for almost 2 years bought new and I have had no problems with it.
The larger Sea Hunt boats are only 29 which is still considered rather small in comparison to some of the other angler boats on the market. Sea Hunt boats especially the skiffs and the smaller vessels are ideal for freshwater fishing. These are outboard boats.

The Boats unlimited boat is a 23 sea hunt and if you check his tournament record this year you will see just how well he did. With all that said. I dont think you can go wrong with either boat.
I bought a 23 ft seahunt ultra this year. I love the boat. Its a solid dry ride.
Its light weight gets great mileage and its MUCH MORE bang for your buck than comparable boats of the same length. Sea Hunt makes a damn good boat. Check out the Hull Truthyou will not hear much bad said about them if anything.
-Has all features of more expensive boats. I cant think of anything the Boston Whaler Edgewater Everglades etc. Have that this boat doesnt.
Im very happy with fit finish-Love the captains chair-Dry ride no problem there-Plenty power with 300 hp good gas economy-Very stable boat hardly moves if 200lb guy moves around. My sea hunt 200 escape is the perfect boat for what I use it for. Mine is not an aggressive go-fast offshore boat mine is not a 3 flats pole boat it is a 20 family boat with an uncluttered design.

The sea hunt fit the bill. The only negative reviews i found were about the transom. Some people reported the the transom has come apart while at sea and nearly detached the enginethis scared me a bit although this review was about an sx or fx modelis there a difference.
